Hufflepuff Vest
For Sakuracon, my roomates and I decided to be a "Prisoner of Azkaban" style Harry Potter group. I reknit my scarf to correspond with the new stripe pattern and the new yellow. The group wanted our sweaters to match, so I used the same shade of Cascade 220 wool as everyone else. As this was my first garment, I wanted to make something I would repeatedly wear - so I modified the sweater into a vest, and shortened the vest to a midriff. My only problem is the length looks awkward with my Hogwarts pants - but perhaps it's time I upgrade those, too ^^
