About Elle...
Hello! I'm Elle Skinner and I'm a San Francisco native. I have a degree in Studio Art and a minor in Japanese language from Willamette University. I spend most of my freetime drawing or frolicking with my cat Scribble, but I also enjoy coaxing my tiny San Francisco yard to grow things, playing with yarn, completing the San Francisco stairway walks, and reading books from the library. I also enjoy pawing through thrift stores for strange 1970's style pottery, drinking tea, and reading. I cannot spell to save my life.
I'm a member of Strawberry Comics and a 2009 Artist in Residence for the Charles Schulz Museum. My non-comic art has appeared in such places as Studio Gallery SF (San Francisco, CA) the Blackfish Gallery (Portland, OR), and the Willamette University permanent collection (Salem, OR).
I have traded my career path as a professional sweater folder to a professional cubicle-jockey. Moving on up.
